Zine Advice Column Guidelines

Each volume of Profound features two parody advice columns. How to Human with Castiel and Agony Archangel with Gabriel. Both columns will be accepting submitted questions to be answered in the second volume of Profound.

In How to Human Castiel focuses on sharing what he has learned in his time among the humans. He considers himself to be relatively well-versed in regular human interaction and wishes to pass his knowledge on to you. How to Human is ghostwritten by lunastories.

In Agony Archangel Gabriel doles out the best advice about your personal life a being as old as time has to offer. This guy has seen it all and is here to share the benefit of that experiences with the masses. Agony Archangel is ghostwritten by MalMuses.

Submission Guidelines

• These advice columns are parody. We are not a professional advice column and answers are meant to be more lighthearted and not to be considered real advice. This is just for fun, folks!
• Submitting a question to the zine does not guarantee it'll be answered. If your question is selected you will receive a short note via email to let you know, but you will not receive a copy of the answer. All answers will be revealed in the zine itself.
• All questions must be free from any major triggers and explicit sexual content. The questions may be suggestive at most. If you are worried about whether your question crosses a line, you may submit an ask to the profoundzine blog and a mod will be in contact with you privately as soon as they're able.
• Questions should be no more than 30 words.
• The submission must have a username or handle, not your legal name. If you'd prefer you may use a first name only. However, entries with relevantly cheeky handles will be more likely to be considered.
• Profound is a destiel project but your questions do not need to be related to destiel. In fact, we encourage "normal" questions and questions within the canon of the show.
• Please only submit one question per column.
• All submissions must follow the provided format which can be found below.
